Movie "gattaca" is the movie which should be seen when it comes to pre-genetic engineering. But for some reason that is consider as "ethical problem" and it is described as "playing god" which is kind a stupid as i see no difference between pre-genetic engineering vs ordinary medicine administration. Plus it is already used to threat some genetic anomalies.
