When I worked at Playboy they fired the CEO and replaced him with the former CEO of Cox Cable (or some other large cable TV network). How is it possible that someone who has never worked for a porn company can suddenly run one of the most recognize names in the porn industry. The two industries aren't even remotely related. Is it possible to hire someone with zero experience and expect them to transform a large failing company? Sure, anything is possible, but it's highly unlikely. A year later the guy was kicked out - a year wasted and god only knows how much money they wasted. You could actually go to Internext and throw a rock and whomever it hits hire them and done better.
