The guy clearly didn't know what he was talking about when he made that statement. If he is a 'Trump nutter' or not, i really could not care less. But this is what the media does: Take some insignificant guy we in Holland never heard about, and blow it up to a huge scandal over some false claims this unknown guy has said a couple of years ago.

This is how mainstream media works. Sensationalize simplistic bite sized things that are totally insignificant and jump on it, while completely ignoring real issues. Dutch journalists are the worst ever when it comes to reporting reality and things that matter.
