prefer they do it with nukes? it's an economic stand off works both ways.
the main thing to ensure to protect the USA, would be to make sure China doesn't start to trade to much with the Asia pacific region, because there's enough trade in that area to replace dependency on the USA, especially with India and Indonesia growing so fast.
