No, they never did. They hired Fusion GPS during the primary to come up with opposition research. Trump won the primary.
THEN the Clinton campaign using DNC money hired Fusion GPS and paid out MILLIONS of dollars to hire Steele and create the "Document" (the dossier).
Trying to say that "Republicans originally did it" is just ignorant.
And it doesn't change the fact that a Democrat President and the DNC used the FBI and DOJ to spy on the opposition candidate in a Presidential election by paying RUSSIANS for fake info.
Watch what happens next. CNN isn't telling you this, and neither are MSNBC. But the FBI, DOJ and members of the Obama administration are all about to have an investigation done on them.
This is a case of trying to fix an election (just like they did the Democrat nomination by fucking over Sanders) and then trying to overthrow the duly elected President of The United States.
My belief is that "yes"...people are going to jail. Just not the ones that CNN and MSNBC and The Washington Post are trying to make you think are going to jail.
