I use Eneloop batteries. I so swear by them! I did so many tests with them and others. I use them for sound, flash, triggers, etc. They can hold a charge for a year and minimal drop off.
Im that guy that does the research when I buy stuff. I hate buying stuff more than anything in this world.

I have about 60+ of these between my studio and house. I loose them before they go bad.
You can't go wrong with these. They also make sleeves to make them fit in C and D slots to kids toys. Pretty cool.
