This is a combination of everything. Everyone is holding their breath wondering how this plays out.
The White House is in constant drama. Nearly every day there is some new scandal. It's exhausting. So much has happened I cannot even keep track of it. President trump is calling his attorney general names (Mr Magoo?), Ben Carson bought a $31k table for HUD, His completely unqualified son-in-law just lost his security clearance, and now Hope Hicks resigns the day after she was questioned about the Russian crap. At the same time, all of the Russian collusion crap is hanging over the White House like a storm bigger than Watergate.
In the mean time nothing is being done. Mr. trump promised us he would handle North Korea, and a year later nothing has been done. Mr. trump promised us a solution on the opioid crisis and nothing had been done (LOL - today he announced the federal government is taking three companies to court over the opioid crisis? WTF?) He promised us he would fix the "Middle East Problem" and the man tasked with that for the past year has done nothing AND lost his security clearance. Fuck me with a cactus in a phone booth but half of the US ambassadors in the Middle East are currently empty offices. Nothing has been done - The wall he promised, NAFTA, TTP. He gutted our government and now nothing can get done.
The infrastructure plan was the best! He is going to remove all federal money for infrastructure, give each state less than $500 million, and then expect states and private businesses to fund the rest. WTF? His plan to is cut all funding to the bare bone and say "good fucking luck, make up the rest your own".
People are loosing confidence - and quickly.
