On this statement, yes. I have, I suppose, a dark view of the future. I see governments co-opting the technology and enforcing it so they can instantly see all transactions and trace any individual transaction. He is presupposing that digital currency will eventually be used the way every other digital service now is, to infringe on privacy.
I see the push away from gold, cash, etc, as a part of this trend.
To clarify, I definitely believe digital currency 2.0 is the new currency. I do not agree that it is a huge bust, etc. It will revolutionize commerce, etc.
