The Greeks and Romans valued truth and beauty. So to counter this, the Jews pushed lies, ugliness and "whatever is good for the Jews".
This is why the Jews had such a clear understanding of what they could do with control of the media and entertainment industry.
They could push narratives (lies), as though they were still trying to get one up on the Greeks.
