Every issue is a chance to put forth a sensible, workable, practical solution where the base could "wow, why aren't we doing that?"... but do they do that? Nope. Just cry. Whine. Blame. Twist facts. I've noticed that this is a big difference between liberals and conservative types
Personally, I WANT lower taxes. I don't want to pay the goddanm government so much, I want to keep more of my money so I am personally invested in it. I want less government control over my life in this regards. This directly affects me and I am all for it
For liberals, there seems to be some sort of weird virtue signaling. For instance, Michael Moore is a rich, white man. Yet all he does is rant on and on about how bad rich white men are. Ummm
