The Manafort trial will be a big part of this mess. Even though Manafort's criminal activities seem to be unrelated to Trump/Russia, getting to the bottom of it will help answer the big question which could be the key to everything...how did Manafort end up as Trump's campaign manager? What was the exact set of circumstances for a guy who is in debt to Russian oligarchs to end up working as Donald Trump's campaign manager pro bono?
