A very sensible question, it's a subject that people don't pay enough attention to IMHO
Something i learnt about 20 years ago is that a damp toothbrush is the ideal breeding ground for germs. Just putting your toothbrush inside a case or container will exacerbate the situation. I used to dry my brush with a hair dryer which was time consuming and more often than not destroyed the toothbrush.
After some investigation i found that UVC light kills 99.9% of all germs and set about finding some sort of light i could use with my toothbrush. In the end i found the
TAO Clean Aura Clean Sonic Toothbrush and Cleaning Station on a website called
https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales I picked one up for $49.00 when it was listed on special ( not always available on this site). Amazon have them all the time for around $89.00.
This has worked well for years now, my only slight issue is that the replaceable heads are a little soft and only last about 2-3 weeks. Other than that im extremely happy with it.
