Winning overwhelmingly in New York and California won Hillary the "popular vote".
She lost the popular vote pretty convincingly in the 48 other states.
And yes..the polls WERE predicting the electoral vote. Remember?
Every night John King would be on CNN with his "magic board" showing a map of the country and the electoral vote totals that the polls were all predicting.
And he would say every night: "According to our polls...Trump has NO PATH to 270 electoral votes"
Does that refresh your memory a bit?
And then I remember in that last week watching the panels of "experts" on CNN laughing at Trump as he campaigned in Michigan and Pennsylvania and snarkily saying he was wasting his time in those states.
Boy...they really, really blew it.
And these polls now? I give them zero credibility.
This is 2018, not 1958. And people showed in 2016 that they are no longer going to be influenced by the media putting out fake polls to suppress their vote.
I can't predict what people will vote for. And those polls damn sure can't either.
But I think people WILL vote their pocketbook. The economy is simply super-charged under Trump.
