Lets get one thing straight here!
It is my opinion that there is absolutely no such thing as free health care. I'm originally from the UK, spent 48 years there and had some great health care but it was never free. In the UK on top of tax we pay National Insurance which is based on your income. 20 years ago i paid around £1200 a month NI. Thats around $1600 this went towards medical and pensions.
Even people who did not work or are on disability still had their health care covered by people who did work. So at least in the UK no medical treatment is free, someone pays for it!
