the US has by far the highest costs per capita in healthcare and is still only number 31 in regards to life expectancy

and Russia is number 110 on this list with the male life expectancy being lower than the newly proposed age to become a pensioneer (which is why suddenly so many people go out on the streets to protest against raising that age).

I'm pretty sure you find nice hospitals in both countries and also hospitals that you wish you'll never see from the inside.

And examples for despicable acts from doctors and nurses can be found plenty from both countries.

A closer look also shows that countries that have a good diet and little obesity show up pretty high on that list.

but of course a rational look on this topic doesn't make for a good GFY thread
