California judge denies release of Charlottesville white supremacist terrorist

It's refreshing to see a judge refuse to let these animals out on the street don't you think?

California judge denies release of Charlottesville white supremacist terrorist

An East Bay California man who may have traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia for the “Unite the Right” rally that resulted in the death of at least one progressive protester.

Cole Evan White was charged with inciting a riot and traveling across state lines to incite a riot. Photos and an FBI affidavit were used to indict White and three other California men, The San Francisco Chronicle reported.

White appeared in court in a red jumpsuit while his family sat in the court gallery. Prosecutor Philip Kearney explained the photos showed White using a torch as a weapon and head-butting two counter-protesters. One of those women was left with a bloodied face.

Judge Kandis Westmore ruled that White was a flight risk and a danger to the community and refused to release him. Kearney also noted that there were multiple weapons found in White’s home.

White’s mother declined to comment, other than to say, “This is a family crisis.”

The three other men include Benjamin Daley, Thomas Gillen and Michael Miselis. The cases will be tried in Virginia.

After White was uncovered to have been at the event, internet researchers determined he worked for a hotdog chain. He was quickly fired as a result of the backlash.
