The alternative is to only use evidence-based medicine, not just taking shots in the dark. Start funding safer vaccines and start studying vaccines properly, assessing harm against benefit, only allow vaccines which bring a net benefit to market.

At the moment we are trading mild short-term viruses for long term chronic health complications. Measles would mostly require no treatment, other than keeping up with vitamin A. Whereas vaccine-induced asthma, epilepsy, MS etc all require lifelong treatment. That's why pharma like vaccines so much, making people into customers for life.

I have no problem at all with measles, at least in first world nations. It is far safer than the available vaccine.

It is more like 1 in 10,000 who are killed by measles, that will be someone who was already on their deathbed, and would soon die of something else. Whereas MMR vaccine is taking down healthy individuals, and destroying their health at a far higher rate.
