The problem was the complete failure of all parties to recognise the referendum. The only group who do are the Tory leavers.

From a day after the referendum the Liberals were against it, Labour now says unless May negotiates what they want they will vote her down. If the whole lot had of come together from the beginning a good deal would have been achieved all don and dusted.

A second referendum is only because the losers want another decision. If they lose that one will they want the best of 5?
