I was hoping Obama would get some of this done during his 8 years but his first two years were focused on getting Obamacare done while we had power in the senate in the house and it seems like after Obamacare was passed he was a lame duck for the remaining six year. I could be wrong but that's the only reason I can think of that he didn't do more for equality and make some of this stuff illegal. I think this may come down to states rights and that's why he didn't do more.
