Pit bulls were selectively bred to fight. It's in their DNA, End of story. Having one that doesn't fight, doesn't attack or that likes kids doesn't change that fact or change the darkness that is lurking in their DNA.
Genes are genes.
It is that simple.
Every higher animal with a brain is a product of both genes and environment, as are humans. But neither determine outcome on their own. One does not cancel the other either.
There are laws restricting the ownership of pitbulls because of this very fact.

It's so true. My neighbor just had border collie puppies, only a few weeks old and they are already rounding up the chickens into their pen... All in the DNA, never been shown how.
