Yeshiva was years ago but you get the gist of it.
You can’t eat flour or non-kosher food. We were and seemingly got caught by an old Jewish lady who knew my family. My dad was very religious but mom and I weren’t. The Jewish Gossip Police nailed us publicly but got caught themselves.

This seems a bit dumb to my old brain but feel free to correct me if I got it wrong.
You can't eat flour or any products that contain flour for 8 days as a remembrance to the Jews that survived without these products back in the day.
You can, however, eat or drink anything else?
How is that tough?
Why not just abstain from food for 8 days.
Fucking Jews.
