The Russian names of the rapist, the victim, and the victim's friend, as well as the sentence 'according to Russian reports', all strongly suggest this took place in Russia. As well as the fact that this type of shit only ever seems to happen in Russia and for sure would have dominated the news in the UK if it had happened here.
