Allow me to clear up the confusion.
Brett is in fact still alive and fighting for his life.
Brett did in fact "drown".... "Drowning is defined as respiratory impairment as a result of being in or under a liquid." In most cases when you drown you die, but in this case he was in a small lake and was rescued before he died.
From his sister's FB.... " Brett had a tragic accident and drowned while on the lake of their family home"
