instead I go from distasteful dishwater flat brown to weird blonde (see ava, my stage before I hit the dye, dark hair usually needs two treatments so it takes a while) to something actually fun

Sorry but flowing grey tresses are gross. Keep it short if it's grey.
All old ladies should use henna and go red - of course, after a couple days they look like busted crack whores but still better than straw hair (blonde).
Ahh isn't it great that men do not need to worry about such things? That we can get laid, fuck and produce children post 70 while chicks are used up by 35?
