off the shelf scripts force your workflow to conform to someone else's idea of how software should function.
someone like myself could write everything custom for you, but it's probably not cost-effective if you're just starting out.
IMO best way is to gradually learn a bit of php and within months you'll probably realize an advantage over trying to use other people's scripts.
