No. It's just a flu. We - people of planet Earth live with coronaviruses for all the time (we, our home pets etc). This is just a new type and once you've got it, you are immune. Maybe not for your whole life, but for a long time for sure.
As I said somewhere else, we want to take home a cat. She has a broken leg and she has a coronavirus. The problem is that our cat (who already lives here) has much less coronavirus in his blood, so we should do everything to separate her and him.
