You can license content legitimately from content owners. Both are here at GFY. The crooked ones and the legit ones. Copyright lasts 50 years after the creator is dead, so you may wait a while.
This is actually quite common using short clips from content owners with a burn in logo. This would be the ONLY legit way getting a free content.
