I'm one of those parasite tubes with embeds (one of the most successful) and trust me, I'm not worried about becoming unprofitable or going out of business.
I'm expecting to lose a lot of SE traffic (my content is gone for a shit ton of keywords I was ranking for) but the game's not over.
I suspect that tubes (and their aggregators) will still continue to dominate most of the keywords they currently do -- but users will get to the tube and the experience won't be quite as engaging as it once was. More of them will end up paying for premium content. Potentially driving more revenue for all of us.
Granted this is a huge win for tubes who don't give a shit about the rules (cough tubecorporate cough) but Pornhub is THE place for amateurs to monetize their content, which will allow them to remain dominant.
