I'd like to ask the affiliate managers here a question about affiliate tracking in VR.
If the viewer goes to an affiliate site while browsing in his headset, clicks on a link to your site, decides he's going to subscribe, takes off his headset, then browses to your site on his phone/laptop/pc, and subscribes - there will be no credit to the affiliate will there?
Also the other way round (pc - VR headset), although that wont be common.
The point is it's awkward to put in your credit card details with a controller in VR, and most people finding your sites (through affiliates) in VR, will subscribe outside of VR. I guess the same was somewhat true of mobile phones before the iPhone. How can you track sales across devices?
