Have you had any issues with your battery getting too hot? There was a news story on this a while ago where batteries were igniting from overheating. Reminded me of when the cell phones were doing that.

I find the electric cars fascinating, but not sure I am ready to make the switch. Even on a hybrid.
Due to the quarantine, I haven't driven that far. The range of the car is 350 miles (525 km) and I charge it in my garage. I have two electric cars. Never had a hot battery issue. Unless you are going way out of range, charging is fast and easy and plentiful.
There are a lot of Tesla superchargers and there is a whole infrastructure of electric chargers growing by the day.
If you google roadside charging, you will see it if is worth having an electric car where you live. If you charge at home, it feels kinda free. But no more Mr. Lube, Transmission, Muffler, Brakes etc. You save a shit pot in maintenance and down time.
My other car is a Fiat 500e for grocery getter and going downtown etc.
It is a good time to go electric.
BTW, as an example, you can drive from from Seattle to Los Angeles stopping 7 times to charge. Mostly twenty to thirty minute stops
