There are quite a few cousins of the snails used in upscale and fine dining. Yes the ones in your garden are likely fine, but you must make sure they have not digested pesticides or other harmful chemicals, as this will be passed on to you, and second, you need to purge their current digestive system, by feeding them a controlled diet of normal vegetables (and herbs) for two to three days. This way the unknown __________ is pushed out.
