The random info throw is to raise awareness. Those Americans that 𝗱𝗼 use WhatsApp often only use it when they or their friends or family are travelling overseas - they do not see it as a valuable 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 tool.
