1500 deg, professional grade, only smaller. this is how steaks are cooked at top end restaurants, like Ruth Chris, Mortans, etc.. takes less than 3 minutes for a perfect rare steak, say 2 inches thick. I prefer boiled hot dogs with un-toasted buns...
