The issue though is that we don't really know what we can do? It appears that lock downs and masks don't work. Areas that had restrictions vs areas that didn't seem to have the same outcome, over and over in different parts of the world.

So its not that we are saying 'do nothing' and let people die. We are saying that we shouldn't repeat doing something that didn't work just because we don't know what else to do right now.
