Every social media platform has it's own ins and outs, Twitter is no exception. I ran some tests earlier on an account I have had for years and without using any automation tools I would consider my tests successful. All I really have to do is scale my efforts.

Post frequency is very important, 3 to 5 times per day at least during your local audiences peak hours.

Video trumps all. But make sure it's properly curated. Show the best stuff and your engagement level sky rockets.

Make sure to watch your analytics for peak performering tweets and then retweet those. The way timelines work followers may miss your original tweet.

Like your own tweets within a 5 minute window of posting.

Research your tags and use appropriately.
