I had my friends cat, and I got her when she was 18.
I am a dog person.
But that cat I so loved. Probably because she was very naughty.
I still miss her now.
So I can understand how attached people can get to cats.
She also cost a fortune in food. I think i ended up spending more on food on her than I did for me and my dogs combined. Plus she made me feel guilty each day so I had to buy her treats. They look at you with huge eyes.
