I applied his concepts to my dividend portfolio last summer and did a complete restructure. 11 companies, 1 in each of the 11 sectors of the S&P.
I just finished my yearly rebalance. The rest of my portfolio was basically a wash this past year but my dividend portfolio did fine. About half were up and half were down but the ups plus dividends were strong enough to give me better returns than the rest.
