I see you're on Vancouver Island... I lived in Ladysmith for a year while managing a local pallet yard... what a fucking disaster! Was fun as hell of a job though...
Last time I went downtown Vancouver for a bike ride of the seawall and dinner... holy fuck downtown was so filthy and so much busier and just all around much shittier than before COVID. It makes all the beautiful people stand out so much more from all the squalor and street shitting!
I'm in Kelowna now, it's nice here, soulless, but nice!
