absolutely not. no performer release on a client download. watermark everything and C4S does have a mechanism for reporting pirated clips but I've never used it so can't speak to it's efficacy
I've come across pirated content from time to time (some even re-watermarking my WAY WAY older content with exgf.com for example as rogue affiliates). I don't bother DMCA'ing the parasites. I just DMCA their hosts and google. I have a fill in the blanks template. I'll pass that on to anyone if needed but it's really basic. annoying but simple
@MsVizis one thing you need to accept is that being online, some asshole who can't make his own money is gonna try and profit off you. it's the internet
c4s won't steal your stuff though

your own studio (that's what they call them, no one else's)
yeah it's kinda clunky on the back end but they have traffic and it takes no time to create your page (unless you have a site to promote*, just choose your colors and watermark in your name if you ever make a site)
c4s are cool with that, and they have paying traffic
*if you do have a site to promote, just choose your colours and create a header image with your site logo
I don't have a paysite or an OF, but I do skype shows. some decent cross over. over time. lots buy all their clips there but visit me for shows. I'm a total extrovert though, you might not be into that kinda thing, as in cross over? no matter, clips is why they are there
since you're new to the biz you gotta be careful about fly by night orgs. I left Canada 10 years ago and was still getting c4s checks to my parents' place. My dad was feeling poorly and was trying to hide it, but he wasn't going into town to deposit my checks. C4S actually contacted me a few months after he died, like what about all these uncashed checks? arranged to pay me via an alternate method that didn't involve wires
message me and I can rec a very low fee service for payment to the Ukraine (again, no ref link, just what is safe and works as until I sold it I used to own/operate a biz paying women in your region)
you can trust them, I was too wrapped up with life stuff to pay attention to what was coming in and C4S was all 'how can we pay you?
