As I've said before, as soon as the 'headset' is similar in size & weight to a pair of sunglasses, we will be off to the races.

Its the headset technology that needs to catch up - not the VR tech, if that makes sense.

I've even tried VR porn (unsurprisingly) but found the results to be 'Messy' - Especially when you can't see what you are actually doing...

I spent a decent chunk of change on it all, which I don't regret at all, yet I can't say I've even looked at it, in over a year and a half... When I think about using it now, instead of it feeling like an 'escape' as it did before, it now feels constrictive, potentially claustrophobic and that I'm shutting myself off from whatever's happening in the real world...

Plus there's a thought of potential sickness these days... - Although I have never had VR sickness issues whatsoever in the past, for some reason I feel like it might make me feel unwell if I started using it again. Can't say why... (Perhaps it's just that I'm getting older?) But that's just my genuine feelings about it...

So it was great at first, and it got used a lot for a year and a half, but now... Novelty has completely worn off. That's my experience of VR... When they make the 'Sunglasses' version, with full passthrough, I might reinvest - But I don't think the tech level I would like, will be here for at least another 6 / 10 years...
