For affiliates, I've seen enough case examples of their traffic getting absolutely obliterated since the HCU with no recoveries whatsoever no matter what the site owners did. Replaced with Reddit, Quora, spam and scrape sites, and more Google ads.

The writing is on the wall. Their AI powered search will take your content, produce an answer based on that content, without the user needing to click on your site. I'm not buying that crap with higher CTR, why would they continue clicking if they already got the answer.
