politely requested deletion and they deducted every sale made off our clips, over 15 years.
This is insane.
The solution I figured out a few lifetimes ago. The DMV asked me for a signed bill of sale or similar, in order to register my very first (used) car, a reliable orange Datsun wagon with 50k miles. You know what I did!
