yea TH has a double taxation agreement with most of the civilized world, so if you are paying taxes in your home country, you don't pay taxes in Thailand. if you don't have a provable income, you don't pay taxes at all.. plus they have no system to verify anything, since they are still doing most government works on paper.
there is no extradition for tax related "issues" and they can't request tax info from the US or UK. the only people i know paying taxes in TH are expats with jobs in-country and now the ridiculous scourge of expat youtubers - who are literally documenting that they are working in the country lol
TH is a great place to live outside of the cities. you can have a big farm homestead for a couple hundred grand USD and 99 year lease (or permanent if you marry).. if you are a whoremonger who loves banging young ladies (or men or ladyboys) tho, Pattaya is a good place to retire and die. cheap and filthy.
