Nice Jayman...we've already bought presents for Toys For Tots and if I can I'll definitely look into this.
As I posted on another thread I grew up dirt poor after my parents got divorced.
My pops went from making $80K a year in '75 to virtually nothing the next year and losing the house within 2.
One Christmas was so bad my dad didn't even have presents to give us...he just started working as a driver for Lance Snack Foods *the guys that fil snack machines* and since he got a huge discount me and my siblings that year each got a box *and I'm not kidding* with snack foods in it.
I hate the thought that at this time of year there are kids who will go without at least one present...it's just not right.
You can debate the cause and effect of poverty all day long but in the end children don't have a choice but yet they are still affected.
For those who think they can't give much..hell even $10 will buy alot. Go to Wal-Mart they've got plenty of generic prepackaged gift toys for anywhere from $9.99 to $39.99.
These toys are pretty nice they have barbies, gi joes, all kinds of stuff.
Do something so a kid can have a present to unwrap..and don't forget about teens. There's toys for teens now and you can go to Best Buy and they have a drop box...pick up a cd for $9.99 and if you think a poor kid won't have a cd player then buy one and put that in there the prices of those have gotten to be much cheaper here in the last couple of years.
Once again DO SOMETHING 'tis the season of giving
