wrong!! they can NOT file anything other than a complaint with the District attorney.....it is then up to the DA to pursue, or drop the case.....nothing cna be filed by just any person!!!! other than a complaint


You could scream till you turn blue in the face, and if the DA says no case, then there is NO case...... and just the opposite is true also, if the DA says that he /her is filing charges, it does not matter if the victim wants to drop charges or any of that....it is SOLELY based on the DA discrection, or HE/SHE can have a grand jury convien to bring charges if he/she wants to....but not an individual
