Mmmmm roast beef for free every day?! Where do I apply?!?! Wonder if they still do it really rare?

I think when that guy said it would be dead, he meant more that it would be dead as we know it. Alot of you never saw the web in its real infancy for the publics use. It was more in the military style back then. DOS screens with prompts, no graphics except for ascii or rarely in ansii. If you didn't know where you needed to go (the url) then you were screwed. It was awhile before text menus came alone to help guide you to where you wanted to go. No need back then for a color monitor.

This was after all a speedy way for the govt and the military to pass lengthy information to each other. Like they said when I finally made it to college. Computers were never meant to even show graphics. So even Autocad was a real conquest of the technology.

BTW, do you know that they can't even explain how or why electricity works?
