I helped the police by sending them to OMP and other model boards where she probably booked the job because OMP keeps records of all back & forth e-mails & solicitations. When I contacted the OMP owner (who I know personally) they knew nothing about the case. I don't know if that specific information helped them in the case, but, at the time nobody knew who she was supposedly meeting for dinner and I thought that might help. Maybe it did, I don't know, but she was a cool chick from the many times that I talked to her on the phone trying to work out her booking for Adult.com and I wanted to help in any way I could.
I am, BTW - all for models bringing someone with them to thier shoot, as long as he/she doesn't watch and pays his own way. And, I am NOT an agent, but a scout for my productions, and my small management company - which usually only represents talent for a short time - then refers them to other agents for a fee. I stand behind all of my clients 100% and guarentee the models safety, their payment, and the legitimacy of the producer/photographer/company. I don't need tons of new clients because I work in the Mecca of Adult modeling - LA and have over 300 producers that I send talent to. Many hiring each model 10, 20, 50 or hundreds of times.
We also don't do bondage unless it is for super experienced people like Ken Marcus or Taboo Magazine - no offense to those fetish shooters I don't know yet - you just havent been personally refered to me. Too many weirdos in that biz.
This is a huge blow to the adult industry and someone will be the scapegoat I'm sure. But more importantly - it is traumatic to Taylor's family & friends - let's take a moment to honor thier pain & suffering.
