We tend to look for a reason to live, most people dont want to believe that we are only on this earth to be born, to work and then die. It makes them sad. Just look at all the things people believe in, they are often beautiful things, we talk to our dead grandma, we listen to God so he makes your life better, we communicate with aliens who tells us theres life out there. These are all positive things. If, according to the bible, God was an evil man nobody would believe in him nor the bible. Wed find something else to believe in.
