i.e. if she makes her living from modeling then she can model, regardless of any agreement. Especially if her current contract wasn't providing her with a reasonable wage.

Well that is the other legal argument I was going to bring up. The first thing a court would look at is it so restrictive that it keeps her from working and earning a living in her profession? If so it would be invalided.
