An old friend of mine fell for this cute girl visiting from Russia. He spent about 6 weeks with her here and decided to save a few thousand dollars (which is no easy thing with his low paying job) and go get her and marry her.

He had a really unattractive girlfriend before and this one is definitely like dime compared to his prior 1.2. I think he's completely infatuated with her. He talks about the sex and how she gives him head randomly, and how she loves him, but she lives with some dude in russia she used to fuck?? etc.

I really wish for his sake that the reality is the same as what he sees in his head, but I know it's most likely not the case.

How do I bring him down to earth and get him to take a step back and be clearheaded about this? Is there no hope when those hormones and emotions kick in?
